I live at Lawrenceville, Ga. I was born in 1877 in Gwinnett Co., Ga. I claim Cherokee Indian blood through my father and his mother. My father has filed an application from Hall Co. Ga. His name is J. L. Puckett He is some where near 60 years old. My grandmother's name was Elie Bailey before she married Solomon Puckett I think she was raised in Gwinnett Co., Ga. Grandma Puckett's mother was a Sizemore Her given name was Tilithia Sizemore (Telitha). I think I have heard the name of Old Ned Sizemore. My father and my grandmother were recognized as white people. All that I knew of my father and grandmother and great grand-mother is that they lived with the white people. I think the name of the Indian that I got my Indian blood was Tall or Tal Sizemore. I never heard of my father and his mother getting any money or land from the Government on account of their Indian blood. In 1882 my father and I were living in Gwinnett Co.
