Sizemore

Morgan D. Sizemore being first duly sworn according to law deposes and says:

I live about 10 miles from Germantown, Stokes County, N.C. I am about 46 years of age. I was born in Stokes County and have always lived there. My father was Atha G. Sizemore I do not know exactly to what race of people I belong. I cannot recollect my old ancestors. So far as I can say, I have no Indian blood. I do not know whether there is any tradition in my family that we have Indian blood.    My grandfather on my mother's side was John Baker, and on my father's side, Daniel Sizemore. I never saw either of them. They died before I can recollect
I have never heard my father, Atha Sizemore, say that he was of Indian blood.   I do not know who was the father of Daniel Sizemore.

The information contained in my application came from Missouria Stephenson, who lives about a mile from me.
